DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
Classic Stage Company seeks a full-time seasoned Director of Marketing with experience in the performing arts. Duties include: developing and executing integrated marketing plans for each season and production; managing the website and overseeing production of marketing materials; creating and maintaining social media campaigns; promoting productions through news media; collaborating on revenue forecasts and providing sales analysis; providing communications support for company initiatives.
Requirements: Candidate should have a passion for the performing arts, a minimum of 4 years’ experience and a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Strong communication and language skills required. Applicant must be experienced in digital and print marketing with strong analytical skills and excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills. Graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite) and website management experience are preferred.
This is a full time position with benefits. Salary commensurate with experience.

We are an Actors’ Equity Association theatre, which means we are not permitted to cast non-Equity members in our productions. We use casting directors for most of our productions. If you’d like to be considered for a role in an upcoming production, and are a member of Actors’ Equity Association, please find the casting call notices posted at Actors’ Equity Association. Classic Stage Company uses a number of volunteer ushers to assist guests to their seats during productions. While we make best efforts to give our volunteer ushers an opportunity to see the productions, in the case of sold-out shows, ushers sometimes do not get to sit in the theatre. To sign up for an usher slot, please email the House Manager at email@example.com. Due to the high level of interest in our volunteer program, we only respond to email inquiries. You will receive a confirmation of your scheduled performance via email.
