Dear Friends, Classic Stage Company's 2011-2012 Season promises to be one of the most exhilarating in the company's history! It begins this November with Chekhov's THE CHERRY ORCHARD, starring two of CSC's most beloved artists, John Turturro and Dianne Wiest, directed by Andrei Belgrader. In February, CSC Artistic Director Brian Kulick directs Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham in Bertolt Brecht's GALILEO. The season concludes in March with Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth in Shakespeare's immortal comic romp, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, directed by Tony Speciale (Unnatural Acts). And don't miss our other popular programs, including our regularly sold-out MONDAY NIGHT OPEN REHEARSAL SERIES, which will explore Shakespere's romantic tragedy ANTONY & CLEOPATRA, and our nationally-recognized YOUNG COMPANY presents Shakespeare's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING to NYC public school children throughout all five boroughs. And keep an eye out for our FIRST LOOK Reading Series which will occur throughout the season as well. We look forward to welcoming you to the theatre this season! Sincerely,
