About the Young Company
The Young Company is a unique partnership between Classic Stage Company and the graduate Theatre Arts Program at Columbia University’s School of the Arts. We make Shakespeare alive and accessible to students all over New York City and beyond through workshops at your school and performances at our theater.
The diverse company of young, talented actors in our shows also serve as our in-school teaching artists. This means that your students have the opportunity to learn from actors they can relate to, and to experience firsthand how powerful – and how much fun – Shakespeare can be.
