Classic Stage Company offers internships in Education, Theatre Management, and Marketing/Development,

• Education Interns assist the Education Manager with sales, curriculum and study guide development, data collection/entry for program evaluation, and hands-on teaching work in the schools. • Marketing/Development Interns assist the Marketing and Communications Manager and the Director of Development with audience development and fundraising research, communication with subscribers, and coordinating and implementing special events. • Theatre Management Interns assist the Executive Director, Managing Director and Company Manager with correspondence, budgets, contracts, scheduling, and coordinating and implementing special events. |

In addition to the above stated duties, all interns assist with general administrative duties in the office, usher special readings and events, and attend and assist with all opening night and fundraising events.

Commitment is a minimum of one semester (approximately 4 months), 2 days/week, 7 hrs/day. Fall internships run September-December; spring internships run January-early May; summer internships run late May-August. Please plan to submit your materials at least 4 weeks in advance of the semester you are applying for.

At this time, neither stipends nor housing are available but interns are extended staff benefits for shows, special events, and are invited to observe rehearsals, production and administrative meetings.
