It’s been such a joy to make my Classic Stage Company debut this fall in I Can Get It for You Wholesale. I hope you’ve had the chance to see this incredible musical, and that you enjoyed watching it just as much as I’ve loved being a part of it! Performing in CSC’s intimate space is such a thrilling experience, one unlike any other in my career so far. I’m so lucky to be a part of the CSC family.

For musical theater lovers, I Can Get It for You Wholesale is a rare treat. It is such an honor to take on the iconic role of Miss Marmelstein, first made famous by Barbra Streisand back in 1962. CSC has allowed me to make her fully my own, by doing a bold revival that reveals new depths within this story that are accessible and relevant to our world today. CSC’s mission is to build on theater history by reimagining the classics for today’s audiences. It’s so exciting to be given the chance to be a part of that important work by sharing my Miss (Yetta Tessye) Marmelstein with you.

Under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Jill Rafson, CSC continues to explore what defines a classic work of theater and is focused on rediscovering overlooked and underperformed shows like I Can Get It for You Wholesale. CSC is giving young artists like me the opportunity to put our personal stamp on these shows for the next generation.
